Review: Fresh from a little gully foolery on Stanton Warriors' Punks, Midnight Phulin steps over to Saucy with another out-and-out club thumper. Chunky kicks and bellowing bass complete with mic damage from Tyler Clacey, there's a real grimy momentum throughout. Remix-wise Barely Royal & Bunnie flip the switch as they ride from soothing wavey intro to a gritty two-step and back again, Revaux provides the essential 170 switch up while Tall Order supersize the chunk with a real cheek-slapping house twist. One killer original, three ace diversions - Saucy continue to smash it.

Casualty EP
Kill Dem - (4:23) 135 BPM Hot
Review: Duo Midnight Phulin (aka Tyler Clacey & Litek) began the year with debut jam Black Friday and haven't looked back since! Here's their biggest release yet, the Casualty EP, featuring three well-crafted tunes that promise 'nothing but deep subby vibes'. This EP is all about the darkside of the dancefloor: "Kill Dem" features echoey kick drum thumps, scattershot break beats and melancholic synth breaks. "Nose Bleed" meanwhile features ghetto beats, serpentine percussion, dungeon whip snares and wrong-side-of-bed bass gurgles. Finally "3AM" closes on a lighter, more upbeat tip with quirky organ riffs and rolling carnival grooves.
