There are a whopping 24 tracks to get your teeth into, highlights of which include the insanely catchy moody pop of opener "Summer Rain" by Inkline, the slamming garage/house of "Don't Stop (Jack Swaffer remix)" by Mike Jones and the eccentric beats and creeped out sounds of the "House Of Haunted Horrors" by Spooky and Spekktrum. What a label, what a year!

Review: Saucy Vibes is the brattish offspring of Saucy Records and as such, tends to attract fresh new talent. Mike Jones has been bubbling under for a short while now and is surely set to go overground if he keeps delivering sterling efforts like this. "Don't Stop" is a sleazy jackin' after hours jam with a tech house edge. Calle Lebraun takes it back to the rawness of early Chicago and Jack Swaffer goes all-out thumping 90s New York house. Finally X5 Dubs delivers a cool electro-house rework that's the standout track of the release.

Review: Six slabs of hybrid bass so big they can temporarily shut down the sun, Abyss dig deep into the future with their latest multi-artist collection. Nick Hannam's "Stumblin" struts and shakes with a Chris Lorenzo feel, all waspy high end bass and an overweight groove. Hott Like Detroit get their ghetto shake on with a B.I.G sample hook, Oris Nutone quenches his thirst on the endless 90s drinking fountain with "Keep On Dancing" while X5 Dubs chugs up a frenzy with a bassline house jam so thick you could crush a car. Finally Samantha Loveridge lays down a slinky jam that wouldn't have gone amiss on Get Physical 10 years ago while Mike Jones provides the essential hands-up cut of the set with "Long Time" thanks to its reflective chords, classic wailing vocals and sinewy acid bassline.
