Review: Mike Jones is consistently driving to be a lil maestro of the house genre, and this latest EP for 2Tone is pure vibes throughout. The best part about it is that "Floor Burn" sounds oldschool - there's even some breaks here and there - but it comes across as mature and confident in its own skin; "Another Jam" is another summer of '88 belter boasting a string beat structure and plenty of certified party tricks. The first remix for the latter comes from Casey Spillman who strips it right down to more contemporary deep house levels, followed by Donnie Lowe's own version to inject some tech-house spirit into the mix.
