Review: Furiously and energetically different, this collection of Circus clan remixes gets heads spinning from the very start with a ramped-up Fei Feias take on Roksonix' "Dogfight". The energy doesn't let up, with crazed influences ranging from neuro, dubstep and 8-bit, with swing tempo change-ups just in case things were getting a little too standard. Mashed, mangled and fully devoted to the unhinged side of life, Circus' artists never stray too near the edges of reality. With blinding tunes from Cookie Monsta remixed by Northern Lights, Brown & Gammon, FuntCase and Mizuki, if you get through this LP without either starting an apocalyptic-level party or checking yourself into rehab, you deserve a medal of some sort.

Review: It's become harder and harder for dubstep productions to truly pack a punch as the extremities have been explored to such detail. Then someone like Mizuki comes along and shows there's still a huge amount of potential to the genre. "Uppercut" tip-toes between melodic musicality, technicolour synth flourishes and the good old fashioned art of surprise. The result? A truly unique delivery that has been suggested by producers before, but never quite nailed. Give your dancefloor an "Uppercut" as soon as you can.

Review: New artist alert! Circus Records welcome Mizuki to their fast-growing family of bass aficionados and this time we're in for a serious blend of beats and subs. The title track is a grinding half-stepper packed with enough grit to have your jaw fall off in pure euphoria and boasts a ridiculously funky bassline for an electro/dubstep hybrid. "Oh Yeah" is just as funky but instead of the more familiar dub-roll, we're now presented with a veritable pac-man score, where videogame coins bleep away to the most squelching bass flows imaginable. It's one hell of a ride, boys and girls!
