Review: Now we would most certainly say we have stumbled upon a gem in this one as MoreNight lands on Time Is Now with a collection of five original sauce bombs, kicking off with the intense piano action and shuffling drum designs of 'Give Ya', which sets the pace for the whole EP perfectly. From here, the catchy vocal slaps and drum syncopations of 'Grapefruit' send us somewhere different before 'Calling Me' unleashes some squelching melodic action for good measure. We then move into the more funky inspired rhythm section and minimal harmonic layers of 'Glazey' which again adds some extra spice to proceedings before the nostalgic UKG sampling and delicately processed vocal sampling of 'Don't Think' sees the release out with a bang!
Review: It's just a pleasure to see the Strictly Flava artwork crop up in the store these days, as we immediately associate it with nothing but good vibes and energetic new school garage music. They here return alongside the stunning production of Morenight for two tracks of pure fire, kicking off with the incredible drumwork and spacey textures of 'S7'. On the flipside, we take a closer look at the organic percussive positioning and 8bit synthesizer harmonies of 'Bit Rated', which rewrites all the rules for a UKG tune from the ground up. Some seriously impressive stuff as per for the SF crew.
