Review: Rumour has it the v at the end of Motiv stands for V Recordings. And if it doesn't. Then it does now because r'kid Mo is slapping Bryan Gee's soulful imprint silly right now. Following 'Fever Dreams' earlier this year comes this elegant EP that oozes funk and fun. 'All I Want' is especially of note. Coming on strong like Random Movement on steroids, it sets the pace for other highlights such as the hazy Technimatic-style 'Parkscapes' and Luke Truth's gilded tones on the titular 'Statements Of Nature'. V also stands for very sick.
