Review: Tomas Ferrari and Maurizio Tramontana aka Beico & MT93 team up for a scintillating follow-up to last year's Eternity release on Suara. The title track is a peak time affair that resounds to filtered drums and a brooding, menacing bass. On "Black Eyes", the pair delivers a pounding rhythm that breaks down into white noise drops, while "Covenant" involves a different approach as gurgling acid lines unravel over a searing bass. Clearly, the duo is inspired by a range of sounds and styles, and "66 Angels" comes across like a modern, streamlined version of techno-trance, that early to mid-90s sound that encapsulated searing 303s and epic melodic highs - realised here against a back drop of pounding, punishing kicks.
