Review: Beef Records was born in Sydney and now managed by label boss Michal Schwa in his hometown of Prague, Czech Republic with his second in command Medallion Man. They bring to life another instalment of Selected Works: Part 3 resonates with all shades of techno, electro, left-field broken beats and beyond. There is many a highlight on this terrific compilation: from the deep dark side jack of Johannes Klingebiel's "808 Square", the uplifting and neon-lit FM tones of Name Does Not Matter's "Neighbourhood Bike Watch" and for something more direct - you could try Roman Rai & Vanko's "Born Inn" which just screams out 'all aboard the acid express!'
