Review: This release had a lot to live up to, following the first release on Persephonic Sirens by Ancient Methods, but the music on the aptly-named Out Of Control rises to the occasion. Sharplines' sole contribution is the title track, a visceral, banging techno track, inspired by ebm as much as it is by The Mover's early 90s music. By contrast, Nathaniel's "Blood Under Nails" is a loop-y, tribal affair, peppered with tribal chants and featuring sharp percussion. However, it turns out to be a temporary divergence and "Lolita" resounds to pounding kicks, grating riffs and shrieking vocals, while closing track "Dolores Haze" sees Nathaniel roll out bruising break beats as a basis for more weird, slightly disturbing vocals.
