Review: As far as labels go, there aren't many who have been floating around the bass music scene for as long as Future Follower Records. It seems that they have a point to prove here as they unveil an absolute goliath of a project, featuring fifty stunning original creations, packing a perfectly processed punch to round out 2019. The project as a whole finds itself landing between bass, breaks and garage, with some incredibly catchy productions involved, including Dephex's warbling 'Warfare', the super metallic shuffles inside the Bean VIP mix of 9TRANE's 'Heard Me' and the bass blasts of DubReaper's 'Ask Me'. There is something for everyone on this massive selection, giving the Future Follower camp a perfect send off to 2019.

Review: Following on from another string of exciting releases, we are thrilled to see the return of In:Flux Audio, and the fifth edition of their extremely popular compilation series 'Get Fluxed'. The line up for the selection is potent to say the least, seeing high profile returns for the likes of J69, Nekst, Fiyahman, Swedger and more, along with the introduction of some eyebrow raising newcomers! For us the highlights on this one simply have to include the dancefloor destroying old school UKG flavours of 'The Massive Crew' from Sekt-87, along with Teotek's neurotic thrillride in 'Tunnel Driver'.

Review: We are absolutely loving what the team at 3000 have been doing recently, from a wicked run of releases through their two lead pages in 3000 Bass and 3000 Deep, to their highly active blog based website and fantastic record label, the latest release of which we have for you today. This compilation consists of eight futuristic creations, featuring some high profile names such as Kissa & Jaikea, Lalzin, Nekst and more. Our favourites off the cuff for this project have to include Motiv's wicked collaboration with Dread MC, taking classic Dread adlibs and vocal lines and fusing them with party starting synths. We also love 'Danger' from DN10, a perfect tune for the dance!

Review: We were thrilled to see this one appear in the release listings as In:Flux Audio make their welcome return alongside the truly unique sounds of Nekst, who steps forward for an explosive six track project. We begin with the title track 'Nekst Level', a neurotic bassline roller, driven by its skippy drum textures and sumptuous synth design. The neuro themes continue on 'Lab Notes' as powerful LFO movements come into play before we hit the final original 'Essex Street' which features a fantastic vocal appearance from Orla O'dwyer. On remix duty, Tik&Borrow send 'Nekst Level' to the stepper factory, Brent Kilner reworks 'Lab Notes'; into a bassline belter and Pavv uses his unique 2-steppy style to overhaul 'Essex Road' into a UKG inspired wobbler.

Review: With this one the Future Follower imprint has pulled together a fantastic selection of beautiful originals from Nekst to form the 'Origin' EP. We kick off with the stunning aquatic UKG soundscaping of 'Digital Fortress' before dipping into the more UK bass inspired gritty synthesis of 'House Bass'. The reesey theme continues as we roll into the skippy sounds of the title track 'Origin'. We then finish up heading down a darkened road as the growling bassweight of 'Body' descends with it's sharp clap heavy 4x4 drum patterns.
