Review: Prog legend Warren and momentum-blazing Israeli trooper Mantzur collide to create an ultimately euphoric groove that swoons with big, breathy chord changes that wouldn't have gone amiss in the late 90s. With well-oiled drums "Sad Robot" chugs into the never-never with breezy abandon. For a slipperier, more linear twist head for Musumeci's remix where the chords remain but are delivered with leaner dynamics. Electrifying enough to jolt any sad robot out of depression, you'll be hearing this a lot throughout the summer.

Review: Consisting of original productions by Solee, remixes for close colleagues and a few tracks by associated artists, Night Shift goes through a number of styles. "Oasis" and "Aragorn" are based on tough house beats and lead into trancey climaxes thanks to Solee's eerie synths, while "Dubtale" is a lighter, disco house affair. At the other end of the spectrum, Solee delivers an oppressive bass version of Goodspeed 's "Stage Whisper". But if there is a common theme, it's a love of trancey melodies and epic builds - audible on Solee's neon trance meets slinky acid version of Nick Warren's "Flowers" and John Tejada's woozy chord building reshape of Solee's "Legends".

Review: Nick Warren is one of the key seminal electronic DJ and Producers, still flying the flag worldwide. From groundbreaking compilations with Global Underground, to releases on Renaissance, and of course being one half of Way Out West.. This guy has done it all. His latest on Hope (a label he A&R's) is surely inspired by recent tours of Argentina as to be expected, it is sheer class. Uber cool proggy rhythms and a sound so refined it already sounds like a classic. Some great remixes to choose from too.. So dive right in!

Review: A rare treat for Nick Warren fans here, as the veteran progressive house producer returns with his first single for three years. As you'd expect, "In Search Of Silver" is heavy on atmosphere, building a deep and smoky groove over ten heady minutes. All Warren's trademark touches are present (long intro, ambient breakdown, dubby basslines, soundwash production) making it a treat for those who dig the classic Bedrock sound. Martin Buttrich handles remix duties, offering up an 11-minute, sub-heavy rework and a tough, drum-laden dub that should satisfy DJs of a more minimal persuasion. Warren also offers up a sofa-friendly ambient version.
