Review: There are few things in this life as satisfying as a raucous jungle single. Perhaps when the hoover fits into a space perfectly, or that first sip of cold water when you're hungover in the morning, but aside from those two things this one from Opius and Skru is right up there at number three. 'Tell It Like It Is' sits in that age-old jungle tradition of blending soulful sampling with ragged drum work and it works a charm in this case, the fruitful tones of a singer-we-don't-know rolling out nicely into Opius' bombastic percussive construction. The Skru VIP takes things a bit darker with some almost Hardware type vibes, all blackish and dark and generally quite scary. Top work.
