The Remixes Vol 2
Aries - "Show Me Love" (DJ Westy remix) - (4:06) 175 BPM
Origin - "Fifty Gee" (Rowney remix) - (4:32) 175 BPM Hot
Review: Hazardous Muzik always tend to put out music that rests on the foundations of UK underground, the cross-over influences of soul, reggae, jungle and D&B. it's always a fresh sound and it always brings up connotations of Boomtown, free parties and sunny afternoons. The DJ Westy remix of 'Show Some Love' is the best of the two, with a bright and cheerful jungle introduction that's flipped into a wobbling, subby roller with oodles of energy and momentum. The Rowney remix of Origin's 'Fifty Gee' goes down a more jump-up direction and is packed full of punchiness and sharp edges - banger.

Two Dimension's - (3:42) 174 BPM
Review: NWS Digital have pulled out all the stops on their twelfth release. They bring you the one and only Origin and his brilliant Border Control EP and according to the label it's getting 'battered up and down the country' by some of the biggest names in the scene. Starting off with the very DJ Krust sounding minimal stepper "45 Dub" and the fierce title track: a straight ahead tech-stepper reminiscent of classic Virus Recordings. "The Void" continues in the same fashion with this breakneck sci-fi roller while "Two Dimension's" hammers the message home in fine UK street sound fashion: razor sharp sub bass on this one.

Chasing Funk - (4:02) 175 BPM Hot
Savages - (3:38) 176 BPM
Review: Origin returns to Logan D's Low Down Deep with another superb pair of curveballs. "Chasing Funk" takes us back to early 2000s with the funk and playfulness of Bingo Beats, Full Cycle and V. Bouncy, fun and killer in the dance - this slays with finesse. "Savages" lives up to its title, too. Maintaining that classic early century riff and groove mentality but with a darker T>I or Serum style, it's an instant reload bullet. You won't be forgetting these in a hurry.

Skant/Day 3282
Skant - (5:00) 170 BPM
Origin & Matt Deco - "Day 3282" - (5:58) 174 BPM Hot
Review: Deep space ammunition from longstanding US bass merchant Origin. "Skant" flexes on a percussive halftime roll with deep echoes of a young Digital reflecting through the tight vocal loop on the groove. Want to travel even further out into the great cosmic dub yonder? Head for "Day 3282", a chilling lava-like halfstepper than rolls with stately machine-like momentum and carries the most positive message possible. Yet another precision Subtitles document.
