Review: The ever reliable Hot Creations are back, and how's this for a collaboration: Romanian newcomer Paco Wegmann - hot off a release for sister label Hottrax - follows up equally promising efforts on Elrow, Viva Music and Kwench. He teams up with French DJ Sirus Hood, he of Sankeys Ibiza and Ministry Of Sound fame, for the new thriller "Rip Tide". With its old school 909 bounce, complete with Todd Terry style stabs and cheeky jacked vocals - this one absolutely reeks of summertime on the White Isle. This is followed by the second offering "Rush Hour", a tough rolling, bass-driven groove tool that's aimed squarely at the main room for peak time.
