It's been a long time coming, but the third platter from Bristol hub Schmorgasbord is here pairing long term West Country fixture Al Tourettes with German producer Paradroid for a clutch of back scratching productions. Face up it's a Tourettes original backed with a Paradroid remix and face down the roles are reversed and the results are pleasantly diverse. "Reality Hostess" leans with a drunken swagger, veering off to the left as weird analogue funk careens around your dome piece; somewhere deep within the machine hides a sensuous ghost. Paradroid straightens out proceedings with his remix as swift, crisp 808 snap away amidst the cacophony of reverberant stems, whilst his face down original "Brother Rides The Jailhorse" bumps with all manner of off centre delight. For his remix Tourettes replaces the playful house foundation of Paradroid's original in favour of woozy, stuttering broken electronics.
