Review: Coyu's label delivers another compilation with across the board dance floor appeal. It veers in style from noisy, big room bangers such as the siren-led "Class Against Class" by George Tounisdis to well as pulsating, acid-drenched workouts from Jokasti & Nek and Rhomb. This collection will also appeal to fans of deeper grooves and in that regard, the layered tribal tech of Milo Raad's "Ustikens" really stands out. Uniting these diverse approaches, all of the contributions possess an ability to work on the dance floor, from the raved-tinged "Smoke Slowly" from Exilles to JC Laurent's steely tool track, "Youth".

Review: Counter Pulse delivers hard but high-quality techno from some upcoming artists. Pjotr & Dubiosity's "Diutisk" sees the duo fuse a pulsing groove and heavy bleeps with rock hard, distorted kicks. The Dimi Angelis & Jeroen Search remix opts for a radically different approach, with a stripped back rhythm as its centre piece, recalling Robert Hood at his most visceral. Patrick Krieger also bangs the box effectively on "Access", but in this instance the groove is percussive and dense and the accompanying textures close to impenetrable. Donor brings a heavier rhythm to bear on his version of "Access", while the Dynamo remix of "Diutisk" rounds off the release with over the top acid lines and slamming drums.

Review: The latest Gynoid release features a varied set of remixes from Advanced Human. From the deep chords and whiplash percussion of his take on Antonio De Angelis' "Inversion" to the rock hard beats and eerie bleeps of his take on Rraph's "R10" and the abrasive, robust take on Pjotr G's "Remote Execute", this collection showcases the Australian producer's harder side. But it also provides an insight into some of his house-based productions; his 'dark house dub' take on Jin Hiyama's "Drip Painting" is based on steely drums and dubby beats, while the remix of Ben Mill & Gracie Ho's "A Series Of Events" is a seductive jack track.
