Review: Mysterious new producer Poschek has taken to Soul Deep to share their cinematic sounds and it's a perfect match. Kicking with the title track, a sultry sax meets understated piano and a tasty edge of breaks to sharpen the edges. "Few Words" offers a more romantic side to the EP, with sweet melodies and jazz influences all round, from the live sounding drums to the instrumentation and walking bass. "Down The Line" offers a more familiar approach with deep subby bass and a fast rolling rhythms perfect for the more discerning dancefloor, and finally "One Day" rounds off with a beautiful, uplifting return to the old school. Gorgeous stuff.

Review: A release packed with thought-provoking titles, this EP deals with all manner of themes, from otherworldly experiences and apocalyptic futures to complete joy, happiness and on the other side of the coin, devastation and loss. That's not to say this is a difficult work to follow - this German newcomer has made it his mission to make his worlds as accessible as possible without losing any of their immersive qualities. The result is a totally intriguing mix of classic drum & bass tunes mixed with soundscape narratives and lots of clever sonic ideas dispersed throughout. It's an impressive EP and definitely one to bag now, especially to say you were there for this guy from the start.

Review: Newcomer Poschek comes from Germany and he's going to change your perception of German D&B. About as far away from the industrial sounds of Berlin as it's possible to go, his sun-drenched soulful sounds call on influences from the Brazillian school of summer sounds but with a bass-driven bite. Shimmering and delicate with bold basslines and driving beats, his style plays with textures and layers, keeping things clean and crisp. This producer is about to blow up. Get your hands on him quick.
