His versatile DJ sets have rocked many a show around the globe with his unique style of blending all variations of DNB from jump up to rollers to liquid. His productions have been supported by many top DJ’s including Hype, Brockie, Andy C, Nicky blackmarket, Sub Zero & many more. His label Octave recordings is known to support some of the freshest talent in the industry.

Profile does it all. As boss of Octave Recordings alongside Brockie, he’s been instrumental in bringing through some of DnB’s hottest artists. The likes of Sub Killaz, K Motionz, and Turno have all released under the Octave banner over the years. As a DJ, his in-the-moment ability to read a crowd and interact with MC’s is well known. Of course, growing up in East London, in a family immersed in soundsystem culture, these instincts were hard-wired from early. As was his appreciation for the type of heavyweight basslines and beats that blaze from his studio to set dances alight.

Review: This is a big release, both literally and metaphorically. Sitting at 58 tracks, it's clear that the Dub Damage crew wanted to pack as many of their best moments as they possible could into the album. If you're a jump-up fan, think of this as a bit like the holy grail of jump-up and the inclusion of remixes and originals from dons like Original Sin, Annix, Turno and Sub Zero cement that fact. Aside from those legends, DJ Alpha comes through with 'The Man With The Golden Gun', a riotous blend of punched out bass synths, whilst Kre & Basshoven low-key steal the show with 'Toronto Blue'. A fat album this, and a lesson in how to do compilations right.
