Following his recent remix of Original Sin comes this absolutely mammoth EP on Gradient, here are six more slayers for your sets this summer and beyond. Every single tune is a highlight but key moments include the drama and pure rudeness of 'Mad Ting', the epic b2b2b energy and sheet metal savagery of 'Hardway' with Profile and Master Error and the far-out wonkiness and originality of 'Frontline'. But to be real, that's just half of the dynamite on display here. Explosive stuff.

Review: Profile has taken a rather original approach to this jump-up two-tracker, with both tunes rolling out the introductions before flipping into their dancefloor iterations. 'Killing Spree' is our favourite of the two, with a banging set of samples and punchy drums leading you in on the build and laying the groundwork for what turns into a stabby rendition of dancefloor destruction. 'Invasion' is a big more raucous but still carries some funk nonetheless, this time that infectiousness being transposed onto an even darker context. The album art is the final nice touch to what is an incredibly slick release. Well played boys!

Review: Fatman D's Biological crew deliver some serious sledgehammer goods once again. Linking up from US to UK, San Diego to South London, Sub Killaz and Profile unite for four twisted dancefloor cuts. 'Dubplate Player' kicks off with a full strength bassline that wouldn't have gone amiss around the late 2000s when Hazard first started showing us who was boss. Elsewhere we have the stripped-back and snake-like 'Duppy' and the mischievous bongo-shaking funk-up 'Run It' before closing on a freaky VIP of their 2019 link up 'Rebel Boy'. Slamming stuff from start to finish; players gotta play.

Review: Profile gets his collab flex on with four moments of uncompromised dark jumpy roughage. "Hellbound" sees him colliding with Puppetz for an unrelenting shaker that's characterised by some really twisted melting sirens on the fills while "Shut Your Trap" (with Fatman D) smacks of mid 2000 era Playaz, all mischievous and barking. Finally Sub Killaz enter the fray with "Big Poppa" and "Private Stock"... Two biggie blazed blunts with the sharpest laser basses this side of Brussels. All prophet, no loss.

Review: Serial collaborators: Ginger ninja Premium and Octave co-bossman Profile collide once again for two more straight-up, no-nonsense rumblers. "Killer" lives up to its name with its gruff, sandpaper bass and immense snare thwack that hits harder than any kicks possibly could. "Do It Right" takes us deeper into their combined nightmares with iced out synths and a drop into a higher-pitched detuned bassline, loose funky shakers and amen fills so crafty they'll sweep your shockproof Casio. Authentic.

Review: Real Playaz, originally set up by DJ Hype, DJ Pascal and DJ Zinc, is one of the longest standing institutions in D&B and a label which still manages to churn out quality music on a semi-regular basis. Their firmly rooted in the destructive end of things and Profile's New Life EP reflects that from the very first tune - 'It's a Trap - featuring Sub Killaz in a top-down showdown of jagged power. 'New Life' featuring ANFM takes things in a slightly more rolling direction but one that doesn't sacrifice on energy, with jump-up vibes knifed in round the edges to ensure it maintains the same veneer of unstoppability. The diving, wobbling sub bass on 'The Specialist' is arguably the best and most creative track on the release, though: unbelievably good.

Review: Fire incoming! Profile & Tesen smash down the Sweet Tooth doors for two absolutely savage jump-up tear-ups. 'Survival' is all about the big hooks and unruly peaktime energy. Think Macky Gee level riffage and euphoria but with that tension and grit that Profile & Tesen's been known for. Need more vocal heat and contemporary laser licks? Then jump on 'Hostile Takeover' where Harry Shotta also gets involved in the blend for added heavyweight dynamics. Watch out for Shotta's full vocal on the build-up. Goosebumps galore.

Review: Shoes off! K Motionz is back with two obscene thumpers that are so hooky you'll be humming in the most inappropriate of places for next five years. "Het Entrepot" pays homage to the European take on jump-up with an insane riff that genuinely comes from nowhere and stays forever. "Bneath" sees him teaming up with Subway affiliate Profile for a laser-licking lash-out deep in the coldest corners of space.

Review: This is a big release, both literally and metaphorically. Sitting at 58 tracks, it's clear that the Dub Damage crew wanted to pack as many of their best moments as they possible could into the album. If you're a jump-up fan, think of this as a bit like the holy grail of jump-up and the inclusion of remixes and originals from dons like Original Sin, Annix, Turno and Sub Zero cement that fact. Aside from those legends, DJ Alpha comes through with 'The Man With The Golden Gun', a riotous blend of punched out bass synths, whilst Kre & Basshoven low-key steal the show with 'Toronto Blue'. A fat album this, and a lesson in how to do compilations right.

First up is man of the moment Total Recall who flips Profile's summer 2017 thumper "Unknown World" into an outright groaner with a flabby droning bassline rips through the mix like Japanese steel. Review: Calling all eighth grade air violinists! Profile returns to Murda Sound Digital with "Watch Your Mouth", a track that harbours strings so dramatic they could raise Hitchcock from his grave. It's also home to one of the best potty-mouthed samples jump-up's enjoyed in a long time. "Control" strips back the instrumentation to allow the sinewy bassline to slur and grizzle over a well chiselled two-step. Freaky.
