Review: At the end of 2021, veteran British producer John Graham aka Quivver presented his LP Revelate on Bedrock, which now gets treated to a series of remixes by some of the top names in the scene. Ukraine's 8Kays takes you on a moody journey into the deep on her hypnotic rework of "Hold", Lexer provides a glassy-eyed and bittersweet remix of "Nothin New To Feel", while a foreboding, high tech minimal version of "Funkily" by Losless was another standout remix, as well as Weska's powerful peak time rendition of "Atomised" which is aimed squarely at the main room dancefloor.

Review: Quivver (aka John Graham) returns to Bedrock with a fourth studio album and first full length for the label since hooking up with the influential platform in 2019. Delivering a diverse and multi-dynamic set of sounds, Revelate pitches epic EBM and new wave energy in "Altered" next to techier synth, melodic and trance sessions in "Hold". Abstract field recordings and tribalistic synthesis makes its way on the LP via "Moonlight Pools", with emotive breakbeats defining "Crystals" alongside deeper house atmospherics in "Horizons". That early sunrise festival track comes through "Nothin' New To Feel", with a progressive dub techno bomb in "5 AM" seriously hitting the spot. And for that album hit, don't look past "Atomised". Revel!

Review: Quivver (aka John Graham) is a true musical innovator: a legend in electronic music circles, renowned since the early '90s as being one of the scene's most essential creators and whose musical palette is intensely inspired and musically diverse. His contributions to Bedrock such as "On & On" and "Mumbo Jumbo/This Was" were chart-topping, critically acclaimed highlights - and his 2019 return to the label with the One Darker EP is yet another exceptional artistic statement. The slinky and hypnotic title track slithers through the subs with its razor sharp bassline, seething atmosphere and intricate rhythmic arrangements. Graham then dons the Skanna alias for a darkside drum 'n' bass/techstep rework that sounds straight out of the late '90s.

Review: John Digweed looks back on a terrific year that was 2018 - not to mention the 20th anniversary of his Bedrock label. This last year saw him serve up the Bedrock XX box set, team up with good mate Nick Muir on the terrific "Crazy Diamond" in addition to his awesome Live In Tokyo mix CD - so there's plenty to celebrate. Review: John Digweed's unstoppable Bedrock returns with Quivver aka London's John Graham with "Mumbo Jumbo" a deep and slow burning exercise in dancefloor drama featuring bittersweet chord progressions, rolling bass and trippy synth atmospherics that you could imagine Herman Cattaneo dropping to a loved up crowd at 4:00 in the morning. Second offering "This Was" is less dark and more positive and uplifting with its elevating arpeggio and sublime pads supporting a sweet vocal led groove. Following up some great recent releases on the likes of Selador;, Baroque and the aforementioned Cattaneo's Sudmusic: this guy certainly is on a roll right now.

Review: DSCi4 present the sixth release in their Spy Technologies sampler series, featuring the talents of Mindscape and Mr Foul. Mindscape's "Flashback" on the A-Side delivers some meaty old-skool action, with some satisfying low end going hand in hand with light melodic touches and cowbell percussion, while Mr Foul's "Land Of Look Behind" is a more sinister number, filled with terrifying ambience and a deep bass growl.
