Review: The first volume in Keith Tenniswood's Sonicus Croniclus series, which appeared in stores in April 2021, was one of the heaviest singles in his vast Radioactive Man catalogue - and that's saying something. This belated sequel has a slightly different feel but is no less impressive or alluring. For proof, check out cheery opener 'Lord Of Dem Tings', where kaleidoscopic boogie synths, old school '80s electronics and restless, undulating acid lines cluster around a punchy electro beat. He ups the tempo on 'Rubber Dub', underpinning a retro-futurist electro groove with mind-mangling analogue bass, foreboding stabs and some seriously squelchy TB-303 motifs.

Review: A safe haven for Radioactive Man's music since 2017, Asking For Trouble introduces a new series of tracks kicked off by Sonicus Croniclus Vol 1. Proving a special kind of heavy in "Unsaid" though its gnarly kick and bass combo, it's a track that's dubbed out, electro and industrial to then get strafed by a rapid fire of rave synths and Drexciyan motifs. Getting a little more streamlined in "Born In The USB" the track still holds down Radioactive Man's rough & funk signature streak that beams with a deep house and high-octane London electro sound.

Review: Radioactive Man hooks up with Bristol gun for hire Ben Pest, aka OverworX, to deliver a hardware and live jam impassioned EP on the former's burgeoning Asking For Trouble label. All roads here undeniably lead to the wicked broken beat acid of this EP's title track "Old Tight Selektah" - a super hit! Find some deeper, tripped out and new age Baelerica funk in "You Bring It, We'll Wing It" with some deeper, experimental and acid-tinged electro in "Bar Tab" and its sister track "Bracetings" that's a little easier on the brain for an original dancefloor alternative. Boh!
