Review: Radiocuts are Gustavo Milanez and Marcio Claver, a brace of Brazilian producers who hail from Sao Paulo and who, according to their biog, like to blend "electronic textures and organic sounds, adding a strong discharge of hip-hop elements, funk and the refined and cultured sound of jazz." So here, 'Give The Drummer Some' takes a very well-known drum break and recontextualises it in a laidback, jazzy setting, while 'Dusted' is an aptly-titled leftfield percussion outing. It's 'Bongonious' that stands out for yours truly, though, sounding for all the world like an accomplished jazzbo wandered into the hardcore room at a 1992 Spiral Tribe rave and came back inspired...
