Review: When Wheel & Deal come to party, they don't come to play, as we see here on this violent new four track collection from Ramsez, one of the most rowdy new school dubstep masterminds out there. The introductory episode is the title track 'Jelly Belly', a gnarly squelch through system-busting sub squeezes and rolling drum work, followed by the more abstract rhythmic jitters and unpredictable bass slides of 'Digital Drip'. The intensity then moves up another level as 'BoomBox' combines nostalgic breaksy action with system-wrecking bass manoeuvres and dissonant piano stabs, before the purring sub synths and marching drum work of 'Quattro Rhythm' bring us to a tidy close.

Review: Silent Motion have gone out of their way to deliver us an absolute gem with this one as we hear Ramsez deliver a spicy array of newschool dubstep heaters. We begin with 'Hexagons', a worthy title track doused in liquidized LFO warbles and potent drum pushes, giving us a lively lift off. Next, Roklem & Sebalo give the track a heavyweight overhaul, dripping in their unique bass designs before moving onto the lethal drum skips and gnarly 808 drones of 'Moodswingz' which throws the EP into a completely different avenue. Finally, DayZero arrives to give 'Mood' a tasty lick of paint, focussing on otherworldly style synth slides and a generally alien set of textures to give us a tidy closer.

Review: Next up from the Basskruit team we see them unveil this powerful new five track display, welcoming the sounds of Ramsez inside to do what we does best. We kick off with a real dungeon-ready thud as 'Yehh' unleashes shivering bassline manoeuvres and windy backdrops, before the wonky rhythms and alarm-like bass stabs of 'Smell Of Freedom' give us a bit of a twist. Next, 'Those Who Are Seen Dancing' deploys a collection of super unpredictable percussive genius above a powerful sublime, closely followed by the emotive string pads and powerful subs and incredible melodic designs of 'No Question' which sits as a clear highlight. We finish our journey with 'Urban Sunset', a super glitchy roller, putting the final sprinkles on an excellent selection.

Review: Navy Cut are back with another heated release here as they invite in the sounds of Ramsez for three original creations, each more potent than the last. We begin with the demonic bass drags and super crispy drum production of the title track 'Big Boi', packed with explosive flavour from top to bottom. Next, the warbling, swampish tones of 'Swinger Club' arrive on the scene, packing a real wobbly punch, before we finish up the EP with a look at the shuffling hi hats and grizzly bass patterns of 'Talk Crime'. This one was a pleasure to listen through for sure.

Review: The Deep Dark and Dangerous reign marches on as they here armour up for a colosul two track meeting with Ramsez, who certainly doesn't come to disappoint. We begin the foray with the the gritty sub rolls and distorted deluge of 'Jaywalkin'. On the flip side we are given another slice of dungeon-like delight with 'Under Ground', as frog like lead synths growl away amidst spooky atmospheric pads and sharp unprofitable drum work. Really cool stuff from the DD&D team here!

Review: Our pet favourite, Encrypted Audio, has just scouted out two new bass-headz for their catalogue, the promising talents of Darkraqqen and Ramsez, both relatively new players on the scene. That being said, "Demons Inside" sounds like it's been crafted with the upmost care and attention to every detail, breaking out a dangerously wobbly swarm of bass, while "FML" goes much deeper into the depths of the dubstep cavern thanks to some utterly broken beats, which leaves "Pressure" to send us off into dread march mountain, to quote an infamous Mala killer. Sick.
