Review: The latest release on Sheik N Beik showcases a range of new artists that fit nicely with the New York label's quirky agenda. First up is Mr Dello, who presents "Pilgrims", a noisy, grimy techno workout. Supported by a rubbery, bleep-heavy bass, it's the kind of track one could imagine appearing on L.I.E.S. Meanwhile, Ray Rose's "Murfed" is a stripped back, minimal workout that is reminiscent of G-Man's music, while Ivvy goes for a full-on, chord-heavy techno groove on "Shape Speed". It isn't all dance floor thrills though and Og Ag's "410 Prospect" is a slower jam, populated by the kind of out there analogue melodies that appear on Xosar releases.
