Up On The Hype EPPREORDER
Review: The recent run of releases from the previously dormant In:flux Audio collective has been a joy to watch as long term fans of their approach, with this latest collection from RDubz being a dive into the darker side of dubstep originality. We open up with 'Up On The Hype', a steadily expanding crash through slightly off-kilter LFO's and crunching subs below, before the pressure ramps up extensively on 'What What' with a more twisted synthetic approach. Next up we have 'Propagation', a slightly slower slink through spacey soundscaping and more subtle sub arrangements, with RUFUS!'s heavily bitcrushed rethink of 'Up On The Hype' putting the cherry on the cake.

Review: The In:flux Audio crew have been delivering top quality music for a long time now, 10 years to be precise, and what better way to celebrate than to bring back a number of their heaviest hitters for a fiery collection. Featuring a truly outstanding roster, with the likes of Dr Oscillator, RDubz, Dystinkt, Pelikann and more, this is a great showcasing of what the In:flux sound has represented over the years. Despite being a vibrant collection from top to bottom, two tracks stand out immediately, with the liquified synthesiser swipes of Fork And Knife's 'Jank' and the gnarly, mechanical bass design of Tik&Borrow's 'Kharon' both being real flag flyers. What an achievement!

Review: As a fantastic way to close out the year, we see the Future Follower's team linking up for an end of year disco, welcoming 20 tracks onto the label via their brand new 'Decade' compilation series. Through a vibrant combination of genres and styles, we see the likes of Digital Pilgrimz, RDubz, Sirmo, Shiva, Sketia and more all getting involved, sweeping from raucous dubstep designs to more dancefloor driven bassline bangers. It's a very vibrant collection and is a fantastic way for the label to celebrate a decade of activity, with our favourite features including the electrifying synthesiser work of Reigamortis' 'Hondo', next to the creepy soundscapes and blippy delays of 'Abyss Stare' from Kyoshe', with the unique, funk infused layouts of MAW's 'Jazztalk' also turning a few heads. Exceptional stuff!

Review: After the great response to Bass Punch records' first Future Klassiks compilation, the dubstep label come back strong with this latest volume - a nicely rounded collection featuring slowly paced, slightly chilled tunes like Dux's opener, "Bastard", and kaleidoscopic future-bass brilliance in the shape of Ill Boding's "Daily Stress". Elsewhere, the ruff stuff comes via Afterdark's militant "Shuff Off" or the equally berserk ManyGances "Nova". Lots of undiscovered and quirky quality here - perfect if you're feeling disenchanted with all things dubstep.
