Review: Red Eyes is the collaborative project of K.Vandaele & J.Geryl, who have already appeared on Phantom Hertz Recordings with two scintillating EPs of booming, uncompromising 'deep-step'. The title track is hefty in bass and meandering on the melodies, a specialty which the duo seem to be developing more and more. "Herbalist Thing" is the sure winner here, and its pulsating low-ends gave us the goosebumps, whereas "Too Far Away" shifts the percussion into an inebriated state and produces one heck of a swing.
