Chris Reed and Paul Radley's earliest adventures in clubland were in their native northern England, as the house music revolution took hold in the late 1980s.
But they didn't meet until moving to New Zealand around the dawn of the 21st century, kickstarting a 20-year journey as producers, DJs, radio hosts and promoters.
Focusing immediately on the deep and driving house sound that became their trademark, they made multiple contributions to NZ’s pioneering Reliable Recordings and released a signature EP on Nottingham’s enduringly influential DiY Discs.
After signing for Auckland's Grass Green, they recorded close to a dozen EPs for the label.
Releasing as Reed & Radley, Monkey Boots (nu disco) and Shallow Taxi Club (edits) they racked up a string of number ones on download stores.
Their releases have received support from some of the finest in underground music.
Chris continues to release as Mono/Loco, Neuro Mas and under his own name.
