With a track list that features top names such as DJ Jackum, Clarcq, Purple Velvet Curtains, Soulecta, Gemi, Tuff Culture and more, this is a garage DJ's dream supply pack, with the sounds ranging from rampant 4x4 to wiley 2-step originals. As far as compilations go, this is a great example of how to balance the old with the new, with the GS Dubs mantra being to constantly push both types of talent forward with the same energy and expectation, making them a truly wonderful imprint.

Review: There is no doubting the majesty of Garage Shared as an overarching titan of the new school UKG world, with their label operations being among the best in the game right now, a theme amplified and proven further by the pure magnificence of this here compilation. Being the fourth in their self-titled series, they have once again pulled together a seriously vibrant collection of artists from their ranks, unleashing a collection of 30 outstanding garage originals. The cast of this incredible performance is nothing but quality, with the likes of Soulecta, Tuff Culture, WZA, Smokey Bubblin; B, DJ Jackum, Gemi, FooR, DJQ and more all lending their hand. It's such a great way to celebrate the success of the label over the last 3 years, whilst also applauding the garage community as a whole.

Review: December is of course the time of year where every label starts to unleash their final compilation drop of the year, with the Garage Shared crew being actively hailed as one of the country's most valuable UKG platforms. This is reflected in their 2021 catalogue which is explored in great detail across this new compilation, with the likes of Gemi, Tuff Culture, Soulecta, FooR, Bar Li, Oh My Daze, Deja, Smokey Bubblin' B and many more top names all landing killer originals. The full selection features 23 of the label's most popular drops for the year, with some of our particular favourites including the niche-inspired LFO pulses and scattered drum slides of MKJAY's 'Recess', next to the big room chord progressions of WZA's 'Over Me, Over You' and the singalong flavours of Blakk Habit and Gid Swedgewick's sumptuous 'Solid Plan'. Awesome stuff as per!

Review: As ever with Bass=Win, we are expecting a set of party starting anthems as Rico Tubbs lands for a wavy new release. The title track 'Circles' is a very tasty creation indeed, combining an unusual vocal layer with almost niche-like drum bubbles and pulsating bass textures below. This also comes complete with a vibrant MPH rethink, pitching up the vocal and allowing his jazz-ready chord structures to bring a whole different angle to the composition. Finally, 'Home Workout' links more bouncy bass tones with a more minimal drum arrangement, using the same vocal from the title track but in a completely different light.

Review: Following on from another string of exciting releases, we are thrilled to see the return of In:Flux Audio, and the fifth edition of their extremely popular compilation series 'Get Fluxed'. The line up for the selection is potent to say the least, seeing high profile returns for the likes of J69, Nekst, Fiyahman, Swedger and more, along with the introduction of some eyebrow raising newcomers! For us the highlights on this one simply have to include the dancefloor destroying old school UKG flavours of 'The Massive Crew' from Sekt-87, along with Teotek's neurotic thrillride in 'Tunnel Driver'.

Review: The Bass=Win project has been setting pace for quite a few years now, with projects spanning the full length of electronic dance music. We are here now to have a quick look at their latest 'Bass = Win Breaks' compilation, featuring 16 absolute heaters. Heavyweight bass names including Rico Tubbs, Future Wildstyle and a tonne more make solid appearances, but the obvious highlights of this compilation for us have to include Mafia Kiss's swampy rework of Flow State's 'Bad Man Tune', featuring electric vocals from Tippa Irie. Other highlights include Mij Mack's super clean remix of 'Bullets' from Rico Tubbs and of course Atomic Hooligan's break heavy rework of 'If We Try' from Reset!, also known as 'The Love Anthem'.
