Review: US techno producer Zawodny launches the Urban Kickz label with his trademark hard-edged sound. The title track is a jacking workout, underpinned by bleep-laden filters, while "Nemesis" sees Zawodny ramp up the intensity levels a few notches, with pounding beats leading into a noisy break down. "Red Light Visions" favours intensity of a different kind, with a shower of acid offsetting airy chord sounds, but Zawodny leaves the biggest surprise until last. Proving that he's not just interested in pounding listeners into submission, he delivers "Meet Me In Your Dreams", a deeper, vocal-tinged house groove, full of dreamy breakdowns and a playful electro bassline.
