Review: Under the Rotarydisco76 pseudonym, Italian duo Ettore Sorrentino and Giovanni Verga have been delivering intriguing blends of house, nu-disco, cosmic and Balearic since 2010. Here they pop up on the Disco Volante imprint with "B-United", a shuffling, atmospheric chunk of hypnotic cosmic disco that benefits greatly from some wonky guitars and a skewed, delay-laden production sound. Waxlife remixes, adding a Tropical Pagan feel thanks to some dense tribal percussion and sparse, near psychedelic production. "Someone With Sweet Attitude" is notably deeper, jazzier and groovier, with sweet guitars amplifying the track's casual, Balearic feel. Irregular Disco Workers deliver the obligatory remix, an up-tempo nu-disco dub with just the right amount of murky late night attitude.
