Review: Coming from that point on the musical spectrum where Balearica and progressive house collide, this three-tracker from Israel's Roy Rosenfeld has 'Ibiza' written all over it. 'Simi' takes the gold for this reviewer, thanks to its combination of energetic tribal percussion and horns that, though muted, have an oddly nu-NRG-ish feel - file under 'surefire terrace stompers'. Elsewhere, 'Sansi' is a more contemplative, playa house-ish affair with perhaps the tiniest hint of Balkan flava to its jaunty rhythms, while the Casio-tastic 'Moonshine' has the tuffest drums of the lot, married to some ear-piercing synth doodles.

Review: Legend of the scene Sebastien Leger hooks up with Jerusalem tech-progressive boss Roy Rosenfeld for a sweetly definitive collaboration. Speaking about "Cherry On Top '' specifically, the track twists through a cycle of starry-eyed, trance infused melodica that while underpinned by heavier basslines, sounds like a theme fit to soundtrack a Castlemania anime. Keeping with the Japanese tri-tones and arcadian synths, "Tuti" holds down a solid minimal groove, with sweet and happy yet slightly melancholic synths sequenced to endless appeal. Get lost in the miracle with Tuti.

Review: Guy J's Lost & Found bring us the fifth installment in their annual 'best of' series. The collection's sitting in our Deep House section but, like the label's output generally, would be equally at home on the progressive/melodic pages, with the label boss's two contributions sitting alongside tracks from other well-known names such as Brian Cid, Tantum, Stereo Underground and Roy Rosenfeld. It can all get a bit floaty and epic in places, and tracks like Stereo Underground's 'Space Fields' and Guy J's 'Beast Of Sea' arguably lean a little more towards the progressive techno side of things, but there's still much to enjoy here.

Review: Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream bring us a three-tracker by Tel Aviv's Roy Rosenfeld, coming from that place where the boundaries between deep and melodic/progressive house get decidedly blurry. 'Lift Of Love' itself tops a light, rolling tropical groove with constantly evolving synths that are one-part muzak (hence, presumably, the title) to one-part 'Star Trek', while elsewhere 'Veetoo' has the dreamy, floaty feel of Balearic prog and 'Honey' treads similar ground but in a more sunrise-friendly, "the morning after the night before" kinda way. It all makes for very pleasant listening - just add sunshine, sand and a certain Mediterranean island for maximum impact.

Review: Known for his releases on Houserecordings, Definitive and an outing on Kompakt, the Israeli producer makes his debut for Guy Gerber's Rumors label (think Lake People, Miss Kitten, Seth Troxler and Puff Daddy!). This two track serving dives deep into peak time clubland with "No Drama" the more emotive option with a strong Middle Eastern motif giving a warm Mediterranean cadence and deep touch to its whimsical percussive sequences, clearing the way for a deeper, trippier and undeniably club-centric "What Happened To Me" b-side hit.

Review: Ascendant Israeli producer Roy Rosenfeld has recently hit his stride, if releases on top labels such as Systematic, Kompakt and Trapez are surely any indication. His new one for Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream follows up last year's When We Were Innocent EP. The vibe on the Rumbaia EP sees the Tel Aviv-based producer follow in the footsteps of hometown heroes such as Guy Gerber and Shlomi Aber on slinky and melodic tech-house cuts such as the title track or "Megakraft", while he also demonstrates that he keenly has his finger on the pulse of the burgeoning local progressive house sound - on such atmospheric journeys like "Trip To Heaven" which go deep into tribal territory.

Review: A sampler collection here from All Day I Dream, the label set up in 2011 by Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay to explore "beautiful, emotional and melancholic shades of house and techno". What you get are 13 tracks coming from that part of the spectrum where deep house and ambient collide, with just a hint of prog and the very deepest trance in the mix too - tracks that will be equally at home in the warm-up, on weary 6am floors or chillin' on the sofa. Standouts include Fulltone's 'A Whole Lot Of Winters', one of collection's more overtly floor-friendly cuts, and Hermanez's deceptively funky 'Ensina'.

Review: Marc Romboy's esteemed tech house imprint has reached its 77th release? You bet! And it goes out all guns blazing this time around with a massive compilation with some great tracks, new and old, by the likes of Robert Babicz, Guy Mantzur, Wehbba and Stephan Bodzin. There are some pretty kick ass remixes on offer too by the likes of Adam Port, Adriatique, Nick Curly and Petar Dundov. Highlights? Head honcho Romboy's rendition of OCH's "Time Tourism", Ibadan boss Jerome Sydenham's ecstatic "Systematic Dub" and Technasia's druggy and tunnelling odyssey "Hold Me".
