Review: Berlin legend Andre Galuzzi heads up the Aras imprint, which is now onto its ninth release and follows up some great material by other bigwigs such as local heroine Dana Ruh and Frankfurt's Hot City Orchestra. He taps one of 'Mainhatten's' finest in the form of Deep Vibes head honcho Sascha Dive. Following on from such killer releases such as "Werewolf" and "The Basic Collective", Dive serves up yet another fierce tribal tech-house stomper in the from of "Children Of Sorrow". This moody and atmospheric cut will have the sweat dripping off the walls, wherever it's played. Next up is Galuzzi himself with the headrush inducing minimalism of "Bambo". The original resident of Berlin's infamous Panorama Bar certainly knows a thing or two about what works on the dancefloor. He's still a regular at the club, but more often than not you'll find him playing the main floor at Berghain or outside in the garden in Summer - where this slow burning and hypnotic cut would certainly work a treat.
Review: Saturn Drive's sixth release unites heavyweights Sascha Dive and Sakro in a sonic spectacle of deep and dubby big room hits. Dive's "Virus" entices with its dark and seductive groove, evoking a vintage charm, while "Get Down" adds some hypnotic sensuality, epitomising what quintessential house music is all about. On the flip "Mojo" ventures into trippy experimental territory, accompanied by Pink Floydesque arpeggios that further allow Sakro's remix of "Mojo" to some deliver some a mind-altering twists and turns. Get that phone out of your hand and dance!
Review: Jef K's respected Silver Network returns with more quality deepness by Frankfurt's finest: Sascha Dive. The Deep Vibes boss follows up a great release on Andre Galluzzi's Aras last year. Dive's penchant for sultry and evocative late night grooves are on display yet again - and best heard on the stylish opener "Downtow" a loopy and groove driven effort powered by warm Rhodes, hypnotic string arrangements and come hither vocals. The remix up next by Vanguard Sound main man Amir Alexander is equally impressive, injecting it with a rolling bassline and subtle trancey arpeggios to take you deeper into the late night. Finally, the life affirming "Sunlight" sees him doing yet another worthy impression of his biggest influence - Kerri Chandler.
Review: Germany's Voltaire Music return with some heavy hitters in techno, tech house, deepness and beyond. While it's mainly a Deutsche affair for the most part, they even managed to rope in Croatian hypnotic techno veteran Petar Dundov - who in conjunction with Systematic's Marc Romboy delivers the spiralling and melodic sorcery of "Caper Tran". Elsewhere, there's some epic dancefloor drama like on Tim Engelhardt's remix of "Florian Kruse & Hendrik Burkhard's "Crack In The Wall" featuring some heartfelt vocals by Mi.li.an. Highly lauded mastering engineer Hannes Bieger delivers the moody and entrancing "Strato" geared for those heads down moments under the strobelight and Frankfurt's finest Sascha Dive - he of Deep Vibes fame - delivers the goods as always on the darkroom dub of "Renegade" (Long version).

Review: Frankfurt deep house producer Sascha Dive released his second album Dark Shadow in 2014. The German producer released the record through his own Deep Vibes Recordings label and it arrived three years on from his first album, Restless Nights. Funnily enough: three year's on from its release it only now gets a bunch of remixes: but they are certainly worth the wait. A fellow local tech house legend appears first: "SQ8" receives the Reboot Chainsaw rework and it is particularly epic by fusing Latin rhythms, sleek tech house aesthetics and trippy techno elements. Then another esteemed hero of the German underground in the form of Tobi Neumann appears: his energetic remix of "Thunderstorm" has the sound of Sunday morning up at Panorama Bar in mind. Finally, staying in line with the label's usual sound is the deep, dubby and emotive tones of "Inner Circle" (Hooved dub remix) ending out this great remix collection in style.
