FM 7 - (8:16)
124 BPM Review: This release veers between extremes, but does so with so effortlessly that Sawlin and Subjected make it sound like it's the most natural thing in the world. At one end of the spectrum is "Open", which consists of dreamy ambient textures, while at the opposite end is "FM7". It's hard to describe just how dark it is; pulverising, dark riffs screech in over intense bursts of percussion and nasty rave riffs, while a droning bass ensures that there is no shelter. If this sounds too intense then fear not, as Sawlin and Subjected have include "FM4", a more conventional jacking track hewn from metallic percussion and dank bass drums.
