Free Alternatives - (4:58)
Review: Appearing seemingly out of nowhere, Seawash glide into earshot on Delsin with a debut EP of refined and positively heart-warming creations seemingly built from dancefloor means but choreographed to play out like a ranging kind of live performance. On the arresting EP opener "Free Alternatives" live percussion and wooden chimes slowly feed into a brew based around a humming organ chord, climaxing in beautiful crescendo of effervescent volume before quelling once more. It's a very modern kind of fusion music, taking in elements of garage and dubstep ephemera alongside more sturdy house influences and playing it out through an indie sensibility. If that sounds a little too complex a broth fear not because it goes down remarkably smoothly.
