Featuring 9 original thumpers, we get to explore a wide range of garage and underground dance flavours here, from the nostalgic 4x4 bass notation of 'Back Again' and glittering synthesiser sweeps of 'Magic Arp', to the more abstract ideas contained in and around 'Who Created House' For us, the highlights across this top quality collection have to include both the ecstasy inducing synthesiser runs of 'Want More', along with the fidget-like bass designs of 'Take It Easy'. Review: Seven Dials label runner Seb Zito picks it up again with Dialled In Vol 1 - a new series that opens with two swift tech house tracks to light up the dancefloor. Quite literally with "Get Up and Dance", it's almost like you can hear some of Robert Hood's "Baby Baby" influences inside the mix. "Crispy Loaf" then turns to jazz house music territory to keep those sweltering nights on the dancefloor fuelled. Get down!

Review: While primarily known as a tech-house producer with releases on such much-loved labels as FUSE London, Eastenderz and Hot Creations, Seb Zito has always infused his productions with subtle nods to UK garage and, more occasionally, UK funky. He displays these influences more prominently and proudly on the 'Mayhem EP', cannily combining bumpin', speed garage influenced beats, raw and mutated UK funky bass and UK tech-house tropes on opener 'Everything'. 'Freeze' is a sweaty, breathless, warehouse-ready anthem in waiting full of insanely weighty sub-bass, turn-of-the-90s stabs, wonky electronic motifs and hip-hop vocal samples, while 'Mayhem' is a warped and bleeping chunk of bass-heavy tech-house hedonism guaranteed to get pulses racing out on the dancefloor.

Review: In the decade that has passed since he made his debut on FUSE London, Seb Zito has delivered a swathe of fine EPs but never delivered a debut full-length excursion. Truth In My Steps, his first album, is therefore well overdue. Its' 11 tracks are attractive, addictive and undeniably club-ready, with Zito expertly fusing elements of deep house, UK garage, tech-house, breakbeat and broken beat to create thrilling hybrids of the sort that could only have emerged from London. Such is the quality throughout, picking highlights is tough, but we're currently really enjoying the pulsating funkiness of acid-breaks cut 'One Finger Skank', the stab-happy eccentricity of 'Come On', the bassline/UK funky-influenced wildness of 'Charlie's Gaff', and the high-octane drum & bass rattle of 'Mans From London'.

We kick this one off with '2am Lover', featuring the magnificent vocal prowess of Black Coco, who delivers a nostalgic vocal line jam packed with harmonic beauty and catchy riffing. This gives the perfect lift to Seb's colourful instrumental structure below, which focuses on clicky percussive hits and pulsating bass stabs. On the B-side, 'Bad Bwoy' takes it old school again with some throwback LFO action atop a hi-hat-heavy set of drum breaks for good measure. Tidy stuff indeed!

Review: It's always an exciting thing to see new Huxley landing in stores, especially when it's a full release pack like this one, reworking Seb Zito & Alex Mills' spicy new one entitled '2020'. The project consists of three remixes in total, working off a similar sound-set, but let's take in the extended mix first as Huxley utilizes the catchy vocal lines to build a euphoric, breaks-heavy belter, jam packed with sizzling sub energies and catchy inflections. The release does also come complete with a shortened edit for more casual listening, alongside an instrumental mix for the DJ's who want to get experimental.

Review: FUSE London resident Seb Zito has been on the cusp of a big breakthrough for some time, and this (virtual) double A-side affair sounds like it could be the release that seals his star status. "4 Ever" is a sweaty and bombastic affair where echoing old school diva vocal samples rise above a bold, addictive bassline and restless, all-action drums, while "We Need Love" peppers a UK garage style bassline and swinging drums with turn-of-the-'90s style bleeps and more hazy, rave-era style vocal samples. Richy Ahmed's rework of "4 Ever" is notable for its' speed garage style drums and droning, elongated sub-bass part, while Robert James and Jack Michael's revision of "We Need Love" is an even chunkier and bolder trip into speed garage territory.

As you've come to expect from Zito: "On It" is another hypnotic, bass driven and swing-fuelled work out, that supports a 'delectable' vocal performance by a yet unknown singer. On the remix is good mate and Fuse London head honcho Enzo Siragusa, who strips things back on his dubbed-out rendition that's perfect for one of their notorious afterhours parties.

Review: Seb Zito is undoubtedly a producer on the rise. There was a bit of hype surrounding the first two releases on his Seven Dials imprint, so expect this return to FUSE London to simply fly off. It helps, of course, that the two included tracks are all heavy hitters. Arguably the best of the lot is "Take No One", a slamming tech-house jack-track whose immense power is largely derived from a stabbing but driving analogue bassline. Then "So Good To Me" is impressively dreamy, spacey and warm with genuine rhythmic swing.
