Review: Well what a tasty selection this is from the Jam Tasty crew, who have once again come through with a top quality collaborative project from BLK JCK, Zuice & SG, combining their unique styles on the sunshine flavours of 'Holding On'. The original mix is pretty powerful, with smooth, nostalgic vocal delights giving us some killer hooks, alongside the ever-ready SG's perfected style of toasting. The remixes then begin to add a whole different depth to the project, with HatDownLow firstly providing an oldschool inspired overall of the track, stuffed with colourful chords and lively percussive inputs. Next, B15 Project & Trudos Sound take it to a whole different level with a colourful recreation, adding a whole new dimension to this already top quality garage original.

Review: Inaugurating the Between Fields imprint are newcomers Greg Palmer and Svetoslav Stoyanov aka SG with the Oseng EP, featuring an assortment of loose breakbeats and warm sonics. Recorded between 2018 and 2020 in Berlin, the impressive debut features moments of broken beat as heard on the celestial deepness of "The Way Out" which is reminiscent of mid '90s Detroit IDM, while the title track bridges the gap between UK broken beat, nu-jazz and glitch in impressive fashion. They close it out with the deep space transmissions of "Tau" (Reprise mix) which is a lush ambient trip for travelling without moving - recommended!

Review: It's most certainly been a long time coming, but we are very excited to see Four40 founders: Hybrid Theory expand their label empire as they launch their own self titled imprint in preparation for a rapid-fire run of releases. We kick this one off with the title track 'Take Flight', a dancefloor inspired warbler, topped off with SG's hosted vocal style, perfect for a switch up in the rave. On the flipside we dive into the slightly quicker bass pulsations of 'Gotti', which lays down an array of hard hitting metallic synthesizer madness, atop groovy rolling rhythms and shimmering sub pressure.
