Toolroom goes back to the late '90s for its latest release. The title track is a filter-heavy affair, its tracky rhythm led by an insistent filter and a repetitive vocal sample looped to infinity. It's simple and yet deadly effective, recalling the sound of Roule. Meanwhile, "Smash the Disco" is more over the top; a similar rhythm prevails, but the duo use dramatic synths, pitched down vocals and the sound of an air raid siren going off to achieve maximum dance floor impact. Imagine Armand Van Helden locked in a studio with DJ Falcon and you're close to the space that "Smash the Disco" inhabits.
