Review: Next, an unusual direction for Juno, however, just as potent nonetheless. We are very excited to see the addition of the Sleaford Mods to the site, who bring their unique blend of electronic instrumentation and early mod-influenced rock vocals in a truly original fusion on 'Discourse'. We also have two additional tracks to this single, the first of which takes the name of 'Eton Alive', which uses dark bass guitar plucks and more of those raspy vocal lines to create a serious sense of dread. We then finish up with a poetic lullaby skit, fusing children's chimes doubled with a telling lament, rounding this one up with a touch of unease. Fabulously creative stuff!
Review: Nottingham based duo Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn aka Sleaford Mods are back with their new single "Kebab Spider" - another gritty and attitude-fuelled expression in electronic punk. The track is taken from their upcoming album Eton Alive, which will be released in February 2019. Recorded in their hometown, it features 12 new tracks from the prolific duo. The record will be the first release on their newly formed label named Extreme Eating.
