Review: A true (and somewhat rare) success story of the, producer-ran-record-label within a large empire, is John O'Callaghans Subcultre (via Armada). Over the past few years JOC's hands on approach has kept a perfect balance between new, and established talent with just the right amount from his own studio. This March collection is prime example, featuring; Ost & Meyer, Gareth Emery, KhoMha, Super8 & Tab, plus the Jorn Van Deyhnhoven remix of 'The Real You' from Dark Matters, and the banging Heatbeat cut of Parker & Hanson - 'Afterthought'. 16 full length tracks for just L7.49!!
Review: There does seem to be a noticeable decrease in the amount of full throttle uplifting and tech trance out there at the moment, but one label flying the flag is Bryan Kearneys and here he welcomes to the fold fellow Irishman Sneijder for a monster of a tune. If you like the high octane flair brought to the floor with 'Surrender' and 'Your Way' on Subculture you will be all over both of these. 'Shadow' and 'Jacknife' (our fav), are dosed with illegal amounts of acid, thrashing beats and synth lines that build like skyscrapers, we like this allot!!
