Review: Coming at us fast and furious, Dope Ammo hit back with yet another release. This time it comes from the excellent Soundclash who impresses with his unique blend of ragga-jungle for the 2012 audience. Lovely lilting vibes dominate the title track "Rootsman" which brings together jungle chirrups, a booming b-line, gentle rolling breaks and a yearning vocal. Swagger and stylishness are brought together here and it really, really works. Accompanying it is a Benny Page remix of "Better Believe" which adds some funked up jump up D&B to the proceedings with mashed up lyrics and wonky mid range action to get the dancefloor going.
