Review: Good4Nothing Records always tend to put out music that rests on the foundations of UK underground, the cross-over influences of jungle and D&B. it's always a fresh sound and it always brings up connotations of Boomtown, free parties and sunny afternoons. Twisted, gnarled jump up is the main focus here in the second part of their 10-year anniversary celebrations and Complex is a good example of how it goes down, his track 'Night Time' blowing and flowing through with all the power of the winter winds. Danger's 'Falling' is yet more filth, with a powerful drum line and punchy sub-bass that bangs in and out of the range. Excellent compilation.

Review: We are thrilled to see the return of legendary dubstep figure 'Stenchman' here for a three track selection, courtesy of Hatched. This release is everything we would want it to be and more as 'All I Can Be' kicks us off with a potent LFO lead line, coupled with typically punchy drum work. Next we dive into the more subtle, reese-like bass tones and stompy rhythms of 'Angel Of Death', before we finally round up the project with a look at 'Meta Lion'. This one is another growling gem, bringing together arpeggiated string like synths and gnarly bass instruments to create something truly wonderful.

Review: What a moment we have here as dubstep legend and all around musical Badman: Stenchman returns alongside the Suspicious Stench alias on the revered Hatched imprint. We begin with the thickening subs and weighty bass LFOs of 'The Agenda' before hitting the frankly phenomenal electrifying sound design within 'Overgrooming'. We finish up the EP with the dungeon sounds of 'The Styler', a lethal selection of bass triplets and colourful drum design, perfect for the dance!

Review: As the moniker suggests, Stenchman certainly leaves a trail wherever he goes, and his particular strain has caught the attention of the mighty Hench label, now a home to some of the most exciting new bass concoctions available on the download. The producer's style is wild and diverse, spanning different styles and taking in different influences; from the rough, fuzzy bass stabs of "Taking It Back Some", to the jungle-leaning "Alligator", or the dreary-eyed harmonies of "All About This Ting", Stenchman leaves a powerful impression, paves the way for more glorious Hench showdowns.

Review: Entitled simply Grime 2.0, this mammoth release sees grime originators sit next to a new breed of artists, all compiled by Big Dada label boss Will Ashon and journalist Joe Muggs. Documenting grime's continued development over the past ten years, its track selections also demonstrate that it's still a vibrant and flourishing genre. Some 35 tracks deep, the compilation sees Ashon and Muggs securing exclusive, previously unheard material, with notable grime figureheads such as Youngstar, Wiley and MRK1 contributing alongside current stars in Royal T and Preditah as well as an international cast of emergent new talent, with Local Action artist and Grimetapes documenter Slackk featuring too. Review: An enormous 29 track selection of future dubstep faves new and old and perhaps some undiscovered beauties in there too from names like Stenchman, Cotti & Crazy D and more, all bound up nicely with a continuous DJ mix by MRK1. There's a fab blend of driving synth workouts (see "Life Turned Up Loud" or "Broken Box"), dubbed out basslines a la the Hatcha & Lost remix of RMS - "Cold", with some heavy moments (Trowa - "Black Pyramid") and quirky cuts like Stenchman's "Purple Cow". All in all, a comprehensive compilation which ticks all the boxes.
