Review: Next up from the Ritual Collective HQ, we see them explore something a little bit different as they unveil the second edition of their 'Welsh Dub Alliance' collection, featuring ten fabulous dubwise creations. The beautiful thing about this release is the depth into which we are able to explore modern dub music, from the creaky live strings on Pen Dubs 'Culture Dub', to the more intense half-time bass shatters of 'Don't Think' from Chunkz and the softened chord delays of 'Cofion Gorau' from Stereoripe. For us, 'Courtyard Dub' is a serious highlight, allowing the percussive genius of Tribal Dubs to run riot amidst a flurry of colourful creations. Wicked stuff!
