These guys should not be underestimated, and their output is among the best UK bass, garage and funky that we have heard recently. This statement compilation is simply putting them on a lot of people's radars, and getting the to know that absolutely nobody at their HQ is messing around when it comes to relaxing fresh bangers for the UK's dance floors. The music is wild and diverse, ranging from pure bassline to UK funky, and there are certainly plenty of noticeable artists and known faces here, including neb-dancehall specialist Deadbeat, Mikey B, B Squared, and Hypho. If you're into the British way of doing house, then this twist up will surely satisfy.

Review: Erstwhile king of the triplets, UK garage goodfella has undergone a huge shift in sound since signing to Big Dada and is clearly inspired by what's going on in the classic house revival movement. Undiluted hands-aloft material, this struts with the confidence of a Chocolate Puma record circa 2000 thanks to the vibrant synth hook and lush little snippets of vocal. One of the most positive pieces of house music to be released so far this year; but released by a hip-hop label! Go cut some shapes.

Review: Richard 'Sticky' Forbes has come a long way since his "Boo!" days during the UK garage boom. Now he can be found on the roster of Big Dada - home to Wiley, Roots Manuva and erm, Speech Debelle - and making the same bonkers sounds, but with a contemporary edge. "Pedal Riddim" is an elastic band of a tune, with a taught, bouncy bassline and Popcorn style melodic bleeps. However, for those of you craving a bit more grit, the accompanying 'Sequel" plays on the same melody, but adds dirtier beats and menacing bass to devastating effect.
