Review: The Deep In The Jungle crew have pulled one final box of goodies out from under the tree before their Christmas break, welcoming three very exciting creators inside for the the 9th edition of their 'Deep In The Jungle Anthems' series. We open up with a system rumbling riot in 'Feel It', which sees the smooth production abilities of Street Creeps join forces with Tasha Alice for a nostalgic slide through some throwback junglist flavour. Next, 'Clap Your Hands' welcomes K Jah inside for a chord driven bulge through swampy subs and crunchy drum processing to match, before we reach a powerful finale in 'Nation', DJ Gaw's killer closer, stacked in floaty pad expressions and tidy drum work to match. A lovely way to close out the year.

Review: Liondub International are slamming out the goods right about now, this brutal pairing between Street Creeps and MC-du-jour Rider Shafique being a fine example of where Liondub's label is at in 2021. A proper version excursion, 'Hungry Belly' is showcased through various versions - the diesel powered original, a more breakbeat-charged junglist Amen mix and an instrumental. Just in case you can't handle the very real truths of Rider's warnings of greed and high level world order skullduggery. Grubs up.

Review: Onward marching soldiers; Street Creeps and Silent Storm arm-up and fire off shots on the second edition of Digital Roots' 'Soldiers'. Street Creeps takes the lead; 'Warn Them' is pure lasers and a foreboding MC vocal advising how to fire your gunfingers while 'Ten Bags' has a bit more junglist grit to it. Next up is two tracks from Silent Storm: 'Fire 2 Night' ignites with a big vibe before hammering us with a DC Breaks style bassline while 'My Selec' dusts off the breaks for more of a tear-out sensation.
