To mark the occasion, the Bristol-based imprint has offered up this vast, 34-track compilation featuring new and unheard cuts from its ever-expanding family of artists. Naturally, it not only reflects Shall Not Fade's output, but also that of its various offshoots and series. Review: Slothboogie's latest series, 'Remixing With Friends', was founded on the simplest of ideas, namely to get artists they admire to rework tracks from the label's growing catalogue. The series' debut offering is suitably strong from start to finish. Scottish slow-house veteran The Revenge delivers a pleasingly crunchy spacey and hypnotic rework of DJ Akmael's 'Strobe', before Joe Cleen re-imagines Subjoi's 'What You Do' as a deep and sensuous two-step garage workout with added sexy organ stabs and solos. International Dateline then delivers a tweak of Jesse Bru's 'Yellow Sunshine Machine' that sits somewhere between Metro Area and sparse analogue house, while Jason Hodges turns I Germin's 'Green Light' into a woozy-but-bumpin' disco-house loop jam. Best of all though is Chrissy's energetic, TB-303-propelled, breakbeat-sporting re-wire of Jesse Bru and Max Ullis's 'Big Chirp'.

Review: Should you be on the lookout for cheerfully joyous and positive floor-fillers, the latest edition of Happiness Therapy's popular Happy House series of compilations is well worth a listen. The 14 featured tracks come from a mixture of label regulars and newcomers, and there's enough variety across the collection to suit a variety of dancefloor moods and situations. For proof, we'd suggest bouncing between the celebratory piano-house rush of 'Promise Keeper' by Peter Palace, the garage-influenced deep house bump of Naux's 'Lemona (Missin' U)', the trad US garage-goes-deep house bounce of DJ Atlance's 'The Music In Me' and the disco-techno rush of 'Mr Magic' by Baka G.

Also reflective of the sounds showcased by Shall Not Fade's various sub-labels and offshoots, the 24-track set confidently strides between deep two-step (Black Loops), saucer-eyed ambient jungle (Kessler), colourful deep house (Lis Sarocca), lo-fi jack tracks (Cinthie), loopy disco-house (Adelphi Music Factory), jazz-funk flavoured house warmth (Felipe Gordon), analogue-rich broken beat (Yosh), post-UKG heaviness (DJ Crisps), jaunty and jazzy 4/4 garage (DJ Swagger) and the kind of smile-inducing, huggable dancefloor goodness that defies simple categorization (Tilman and Phonk D).

Review: The Lost Palms team seem to have a real knack for finding sonic gems, with this latest episode of their catalogue being another stunning selection, with Subjoi providing a gorgeous four-track display of atmospheric garage-inspired precision. We open up with 'In The Ashes', a beautiful harmonic display across emotive piano melodies and delicate drums, followed by a slightly quicker, more sub-driven creation in 'Steadfast', a very worthy title track indeed. Next, 'Count It Off' ups the pace again with a chime-driven harmonic structure and more intense drum processing, before the choppy basslines and intricate chord delays of 'Rapids' put a fancy bow on top of an already well designed selection. Lovely stuff!

Review: From the deep south comes Australian producer Subjoi outta Adelaide to deliver Shall Not Fade sub-label Lost Palms a third solo release! Turning in a house, drum and bass, trance and hip hop inspired EP, Subjoi kicks it off with some Wu-Tang sample flavours in the looped and filtered house vibe of "Empty Nights". Enter some straight-up UKG vocals and Australian-pop synths done Bag Raiders style in "Alone" there's some raw and dusty drum and bass sequences thrown under a piano-laden track in "Desire". Turning to distorted amen breaks, jungle loops and drum and bass alongside some '90s trance inspirations in the title track "Bias" - Subjoi brings the love.

Review: Having not released any music for two years, Jakub Fidos AKA Subjoi recently returned to action with his second EP for Shall Not Fade off shoot Lost Palms. This swiftness of this similarly impressive follow-up - this time on Distant Hawaii - suggests that he made great use of his time away. There's something particularly striking about the sheer heaviness of EO opener "Fairfax", a retro-futurist peak-time slammer rich in bombastic UK garage beats, rushing piano stabs and Todd Edwards style cut-up vocal samples, while the deeper (but no less forthright) "Like It Was" is almost as impressive. Elsewhere, "Drownin" is a hazy and picturesque two-step roller, "Shelter Me" doffs a cap to classic, organ-heavy New Jersey garage, and "When You Love Me" is a dreamy, pitched-down gem.
