Review: This VA is jam-packed with some of the scene's best liquid maestros, and it's of the movement for Liquid Drum & Bass 4 Autism, a group which seeks to raise awareness and money for those who have autism. Low:r, Furney, MsDos and more have gotten themselves involved, and the result is a lovely, serene walk through some of 174's most nonchalant moments. 'Eyes Closed' by Low:r is especially gorgeous, with his trademark organic sound fluttering in the wind of his creativity like usual. Changer is characteristically deep with 'Only To Be', and it's just the iceberg of what is a brilliant album for a brilliant cause.

Review: Last spotted on LA's finest D&B imprint Soul Deep over two years ago, Brazilian Subsid returns with two deliciously bright and breezy rollers. "Beloved" is peppered with spacious pianos, reverse effects and stretched horns while "Remember When" allows Subsid to take us on a jazzier jag with organs so vibey they could make Roy Ayers blush. Another fine Sao Paulo exponent delivering a the perfect summer rubs, the Brazilian spirit in unabashed.

Review: V Recordings sister label Chronic steps up to give us volume 2 of their Rollers series, featuring 16 exclusive tracks from the freshest talent and the most exciting names currently holding down the underground scene. The label was reborn in 2013 with the mantra of presenting the world with no frills dance floor Drum and Bass and judging from this latest offering they certainly seem to be fulfilling their mission. From the rolling jungle sounds of Bladerunner's epic "Lock Off VIP" to the distorted growls of Command Strange's "Riots" if you are looking to get the dance floor bouncing, then Chronic have you covered.

Review: LuvDisaster star Subsid aka Bruno Henrique Rezende de Souza makes his Soul Deep Recordings debut with a typical soulful swagger. Blending soul, jazz and breakbeat, Subsid's liquid funk comes from a warm, intelligent place. With a keen ear for technique and a real flair for the top end, it sounds crazy, but Subsid's cymbal programming is a thing of beauty. Technological geekery aside, this double-tracker is a perfect precursor to a night on the town - rolling bass, flowing movement and laid-back yet uptempo beats, "I Gave You Everything" has it all. "I'd Do" has more of a Brazilian-style lounge jazz influence; chilled but on the mark. Sharp and smooth in equal measures, it's the real deal.
