Review: The name Super Paolo may not be familiar to most, but Paolo Guglielmino is no newcomer: his career dates all the way back to the mid-90s, and he's best known as one-half of Italian duo Tutto Matto, who put out a string of Balearic/downtempo/leftfield releases on Tummy Touch back in the noughties. 'Mini Plug', in its Original form, sits very much on that same spectrum, with bruk beat-style fat, squelchy bass underpinning sunny funk/disco guitar chops. Baldelli & Dionigi's remix unsurprisingly has a more cosmic feel, while Funkadiba's rub is more stripped-back, echo-y and dripping in piano, and on a big soundsystem should sound really quite splendid.
