Review: Deekline, of the guys behind the prolific Jungle Cakes, is back on his own imprint with Brian Brainstorm, Specimen A, Sweetie Irie and KIlla P, an all-star lineup that have produced a ferocious blend of crashing jungle and menacing vocals. The structure they've concocted makes this tune so sick, with stepping halftime sections that utilize Sweetie Irie and Killa P's wicked vocal talent to build suspense, creating rhythmic diversity that then falls away on the drop into punishing breaks and warped out basslines. Proper club friendly weapon from the Jungle Cakes crew.

Review: Jungle don Benny Page returns to last year's P.U.R.P.L.E album and shares out the parts to some of the many stand-out tracks for some timely remix justice. First up Kursiva plugs "Power" up to the mains and flips it into a high voltage tech-edge shock-out. Zero G follows with his switch-up on "Bless". One of the album's lower tempo dub joints, he supercharges it with skippy breaks, warm skanks and great use of both Sweetie and Eva's vocals. Finally the fast-rising Kleu takes "Should A Know" into brazen new pastures of badness with his absolute shredder of a remix. Boys and girls better know. Dutty!

VIP angles a darker slant in their remix while dubby Lily Allen vibes are out in full shine on Mr Benn's remix (featuring Blackout JA). For some glitchy, tear out bass information check Banx & Ranx remix, while Swindles remix is stripped back, but not quite as much as 808charmers. Baseline house be banging on Rico Tubbs remix too, the most linear production on this package.
