Review: Inspired by the early techstep and drumfunk sound of legendary labels like Certificate 18, No U-Turn and Science, German D&B fanatic and head of Dysfunk Music Scale has pulled together some of the most exciting new names in the bleak, techy business of dark, minimal drum & bass to create a staggeringly monolithic selection of tracks. Featuring the likes of Greenleaf, Ibunshi, Phuture T and Scale himself, there's no denying that this LP is probably one of the darkest, most challenging and authentically nostalgic D&B efforts on the market right now. Well worth the sleepless nights.
