Review: Following up great releases on Holic Trax, Love Potion and his very own GWM Records, Ukrainian label Manuscript Records presents 10 tracks of classic deep house on this album from Japanese producer Mr Takeshi Fukushima aka Takecha. Voices features soulful and emotive numbers inspired by the glory days of NYC house, such as the deep swing of "FBM", getting off-kilter with the moody soul claps of "Find", then going for a more understated vibe on the late night dub of "Let's Move Around". There's diversity within his repertoire, with the dusty urban sounds of Berlin style MPC house on "Loose Down" and finding a middle ground somewhere between electro and UK broken beat UK "Mr Timemachine".
